The holiday season—along with Super Bowl—is one of the best times of year for advertisers and marketers to get creative. Some of my favorites through the years are the Coca Cola polar bears, M&M (he is real!), Hershey’s Kisses jingle and Campbell’s Snowman.
And now I have a new one to add to the list. I saw this one over the weekend and immediately showed it to family and friends.
While it may not be amazingly creative, I’m a sucker for Christmas songs and anything basketball related. The commercial advertises special Christmas Day NBA jerseys and features stars Dwight Howard, Carmelo Anthony, Russell Westbrook, Dwyane Wade and Joe Johnson.
While they’re not doing anything extraordinary like dunking or making trick shots, their collective dribbling is transformed into a very famous Christmas song.
What do you think?
